Providence Education Coordinator - 1.0 FTE, Days in Spokane, Washington
Providence is calling a Education Coordinator (Clinical Education Services , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) to Providence Health Care Region in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will:
Efficiently apply standard practices and procedures for classroom and administrative activities.
Rely on experience and judgment.
Provide leadership to organize and accomplish tasks.
Perform a variety of routine to complex tasks.
A high level of discretion and independent judgment is required to make appropriate decisions with student progress and discipline, instructor development and course curriculums.
There is minimal supervision and appropriate initiative must be taken to plan, organize and complete projects.
Good communication skills and writing ability are a must, in order to communicate with students, create appropriate manuals, and support the team.
Participate in the planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of educational program offerings, including instruction of programs
Develop new program material and courses as needed to support the ongoing growth of the department.
Develop or assist in the creation of marketing materials for education events as needed to promote courses and programs.
Participate in activities that promote INHS education programs including marketing events, staff recruiting events and conference vendor events as appropriate.
Plan effective instructional strategies for adapting and modifying curriculum to meet the needs of individual students and accrediting bodies.
Engage in professional development to stay current on research based instructional strategies, and seeks additional resources as needed.
Act as instructor for courses as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic in WA State.
Experience with Learning Management Systems in an educational setting
Five (5) years teaching experience in a classroom setting.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic in WA State.
Senior EMS Instructor (SEI).
Washington State EMS Evaluator.
