Swedish Health Services Sr. Construction Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Seattle, Washington
Description:
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Construction Licensed Journeyman Electrician (1.0 FTE, DayShift) to work in the Facilities Management at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a senior licensed electrician who will be responsible for electrical project installations, project planning and review, cost estimation, and will have over site of electrical project budget ensuring electrical projects meet budgetary requirements
In this position you will:
Provides scope assessments, cost estimates, schedule development, and disruption/outage planning for projects.
Repairs existing components (i.e. conduit, breakers, fuses, disconnects, switches, outlets, controls, wiring, lighting, motors, etc.)efficiently and effectively as per NEC.
Ensures electrical projects meet established timelines by managing own time and the times of others team members / apprentice
Able to interpret and troubleshoot from schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, shop directives, diagrams, meters, gauges, testing equipment relative to electrical components and equipment
Familiar with automation controls and systems related to BAS and system controls
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school Diploma or GED
10 or more years in the construction field reading blue prints, electrical diagrams, installing electrical components including high and low voltage systems, including 13.8v electrical switch gear, running conduits.
Experience preforming preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment, including panels, preforming inferred scanning.
Must have a valid State of Washington Journeyman (01) Electrical License.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 7 years knowledge of electrical codes in a acute care facilities.
