Swedish Health Services RN Clinic - Vascular Surgery in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Medical Group is looking for Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work for Vascular Surgery Department in Seattle , WA.

Work under the direction of the Clinic Nursing Supervisor or Clinic Manager to provide basic patient care to assigned patients.

In this position you will:

  • Triage patients and communicate urgent patient needs to the practitioner and provide appropriate follow up

  • Prepare and assist in procedures performed in office (sclerotherapy, laser ablation, catheter pulls etc) to appropriate level of training and established protocols

  • Perform nursing visits to include staple removals and wound checks

  • Provides necessary patient education on procedures, surgeries, including pre-op and post op instructions

  • Develop positive communication and collaboration with providers, peers and clinic staff to facilitate optimum patient care and services

  • Be under the supervision of practitioner, administer medications for treatment of positive DVT patients

  • Delegate tasks to other caregivers as license permits


Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing

  • One (1) year nursing experience in a clinic setting or two (2) years of acute hospital nursing experience

  • Current Washington State RN license

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)

Preferred qualifications:

  • ACLS certification
