Swedish Medical Center Quality Division Program Coordinator - Risk Management in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Shared Services is looking for a Program Coordinator, Quality Division (1FTE, Day Shift) to work in Risk Management at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
The Program Coordinator Risk and Patient Safety provides support for the Risk Management and Patient Safety Department. The Coordinator supports overall operational efficiency of the teams by assisting with scheduling and and coordinating team
meetings, assisting with regular report-outs and communications, and tracking
ongoing work. The Coordinator will
provide additional programmatic support to ensure success for Clinical
Pathways, the Quality Division Newsletter, Patient Family Advisory Councils,
Physician Quality Compensation, Value-Oriented Architecture, and other
prioritized areas that will evolve over time
In this position you will:
Manage team collaboration including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up from team meetings in addition to maintenance of internal communication channels (SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, etc.).
Assist with onboarding of new team members including access requests, scheduling onboarding, and member orientation.
Coordinate creation of regular reports and presentations to Risk and Patient Safety leaders and other SHS governance groups.
Assist with dissemination of data and regular reports to stakeholders.
Provide programmaticsupport for system level quality programs such as Patient Family Advisorycouncils, Physician Quality Compensation, Value-Oriented Architecture, andClinical Pathways in partnership with Quality Program Managers
Facilitate and monitorintake and onboarding for patient advisors
Manage content and ongoingmaintenance of Swedish Pathways landing page
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years experience in project or program coordination
Proficiency in computerskills and use of common office applications including MS Office Suite.Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications including SharePoint, Yammer,and MS teams preferred
Strong attention to detail,good time management, and willingness to learn
Adept at self-directedlearning to master new technology applications and subject matter areas
Periodic travel acrossSwedish Health Systems sites (greater Puget Sound Area) no more than 20%.Caregivers are responsible for maintaining WA State Driver's License andapplicable insurance coverage when using personal vehicle for work-relatedtravel
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience or background in healthcare
Experience working with andcommunicating about data preferred
Basic understanding ofprocess improvement methodologies and change management experience preferred
