Swedish Medical Center Program Coordinator, Quality Division - Clinical Value Performance Imp in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Shared Services is looking for a Quality Division Program Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Clinical Value Performance Imp at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.

The Quality Division Program Coordinator provides support for the Quality Division, primarily focused on the Pathways and Quality Program Management team as well as the Project Management Office. The coordinator supports overall operational efficiency of the teams by assisting with scheduling and coordinating team meetings, assisting with regular report-outs and communications, and tracking ongoing work.

In this position you will:

  • Manage team collaboration including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up from team meetings in addition to maintenance of internal communication channels (SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, etc.)

  • Assist with onboarding of new team members including access requests, scheduling onboarding, and member orientation

  • Coordinate creation of regular reports and presentations to Quality Division leaders and other SHS governance groups

  • Provide project tracking and assistance with publication of monthly Quality Division newsletter

  • Assist with dissemination of data and regular reports to stakeholders

  • Provide scheduling assistance and administrative support for prioritized program meetings

  • Manage content and ongoing maintenance of Swedish Pathways landing page

  • Facilitate and monitor intake and onboarding for patient advisors

  • Provide programmatic support for system level quality programs such as Patient Family Advisory councils, Physician Quality Compensation, Value-Oriented Architecture, and Clinical Pathways in partnership with Quality Program Managers

  • Actively seek out ways that work can be done better, including use of digital tools to enhance intra- and inter-team communication.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus two years’ experience in project management, information technologies, quality improvement, change management, healthcare administration, or clinical field, or Associate’s degree plus four years’ experience

  • Periodic travel across Swedish Health Systems sites (greater Puget Sound Area) no more than 20%. Caregivers are responsible for maintaining WA State Driver's License and applicable insurance coverage when using personal vehicle for work-related travel

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure appropriate follow-through and communication

  • Proficiency in computer skills and use of common office applications including MS Office Suite. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications including SharePoint, Yammer, and MS teams preferred

  • Adept at self-directed learning to master new technology applications and subject matter areas

  • Experience working with and communicating about data preferred

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Project Management or Quality Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, CPHQ) Certification

  • Experience in ambulatory outpatient setting or health insurance
