Swedish Health Services Physical Therapist in Seattle, Washington
Description:
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in the Physical Therapy Department at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The physical therapist (PT) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of physical therapy services. The PT performs evaluations and develops individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implements the plans of care and reassesses treatment results, and actively participates in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including appropriate disciplines, significant others and the patient.
In this position youwill:
Demonstrates complex problem solving skills in both patient care and department operations
Performs patient assessment/reassessment. Establishes plan of care with the patient, which is appropriate to the patient's needs and allows for informed consent or refusal
Documentation meets regulatory requirements, departmental standards, and considers reimbursement needs. Documents on day of visit, usually at time of visit
Carries out assigned responsibilities in a timely and complete manner, using appropriate judgment and detail
Supervises students as assigned
Qualifications:
Requiredqualifications for this position include:
A graduate of an accredited program of physical therapy
Possesses valid Washington physical therapy license, interim permit or temporary permit
Basic Life Support (BLS)
