Swedish Health Services Learning Operations Specialist in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Shared Services is looking for a current caregiver to develop his or her career with this new opportunity as a Learning Operations Specialist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to at Swedish Cherry Hill, James Tower in Seattle, WA.

Incumbent in this position functions as a member of the system-wide education team, participating in decisions for developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs provided for Swedish managers and employees. Incumbent applies all elements of the learning process - needs assessment, program planning, instructional methodologies, and outcome evaluation to all department programs. Incumbent establishes systems and processes that support education programs, including registration management, marketing and communication, presentation and delivery methods, and record maintenance for compliance with regulatory and organization standards. Incumbent provides individual consultation and support for team director, department manager and educators regarding all elements of education program implementation and follow-up. Incumbent participates as faculty for selected employee learning programs Incumbent functions as the department liaison for external customers.

In this position you will:

  • Independently manages the overall support processes and systems for the regional education programs provided by Clinical Education and Practice, including registration and payment systems, program logistics, marketing, and records.

  • Consults regularly with director, manager, and educators to ensure consistency of program quality and overall coordination among all programs within the departments.

  • Ensures that all marketing and communication documents are accurate, complete, distributed appropriately, and meet organization standards.

  • Ensures that all records and statistics for individual programs and departments are up-to-date and meet standards for regulatory agencies and the organization.

  • Provides consultation to educators for specific elements of education programs such as program curriculum, participant materials, presentation methods, AV support, and required program follow-up.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education or the equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Three (3) years job related experience in one (1) or more of the following areas: Education, Training, Management, or Consultation

  • Experience that includes management of complex education programs or administrative projects in a large organization
