Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Finance Partner PSJH to our location in Seattle, WA.
We are seeking a Finance Partner for the Clinical Institutes to be an advisor to Senior Leadership with a focus on driving financial improvement within the organization. Assists key decision makers in forming an objective and accurate view of operations and services and opportunities by analyzing financial information, interpreting trends and metrics. Completes various projects related to the measurement, forecast and reporting of critical financial results.
Performs all duties in a manner that promotes Providence St. Joseph mission, values, and philosophy. Serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities :
Be an Advisor to senior leadership including EVP, SVP, VP, Sr. Dir. and other management team.
Special projects including business plan, capital planning and pro forma development, especially in new business ventures.
Partnership with leaders in proactive development of financial analytic materials and models.
Develop financial and operational analysis both routine and ad hoc for the Clinical Institutes.
Develop insights that support key decision-makers through critical research and analysis of operational areas such as resource utilization, organizational structure, and work methods/procedures.
Interpret business trends and metrics to assist key decision makers in forming an objective view of operations, services and opportunities.
Conduct studies, productivity analyses, and surveys to identify areas for financial improvement.
Represent Clinical Institute Finance Ops on work groups and acts as a lead contact for system office financial information.
Develop financial plans in line with strategies to achieve CPS goals and objectives
Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding financial reporting, metrics and related information. Facilitates education sessions either in a one-on-one environment or in large groups in person or via web.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare related discipline or equivalent education/experience.
6 years analytical & business experience in financial analysis, accounting or related discipline.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration.
Preference given to incumbents with prior experience as senior financial analysts, who have demonstrated a strong ability to partner with leadership.
