Providence Health & Services Administrative Assistant - Communications in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant (Communications, Day Shift, 0.34 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
The schedule is 7:30am-2:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
In this position you will:
Provide administrative support in day-to-day functions and projects of Communications, Business Office, Operations, and other departments
Answer telephones adhering to guidelines of answering calls within four rings,route calls correctly, and take accurate messages when necessary
Greet visitors, responding courteously and appropriately to all inquiries
Be responsible for in-house mail distribution and preparing all outgoing mail including certified, and overnight mail services
Support Staffing Office after regular business hours, following established guidelines for scheduling and communicating with staff
Perform general clerical functions such as filing, memos, minutes, report preparation, photocopying and data entry
Provide superior customer service to clients, visitors and staff
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
1 year secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years of secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Experience working in a receptionist capacity answering a multi-line phone and greeting customers and/or customer service experience
Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
