We are looking for a Sterile Processing Tech - NUHW (National Union of Healthcare Workers) with Endoscopy ASC at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Full Time - 80 biweekly hours
Shift: 8-hour Days
Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilizing of re-usable instruments and trays use hospital-wide. Pulls instruments and supplies for OR case carts. Demonstrates a clear understanding of decontamination procedures and risk of cross contamination, aseptic technique, sterilization methods and sterility assurance. Is aware of the importance of strict attention to detail in all areas including but not limited to the functionality of all instrumentation.
Previous experience in related field required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year (minimum) previous SPD or surgical scrub tech experience required
Certification by National or International Association - IAHCSMM or CPSPD REQUIRED.
Must renew certificate annually.
