We are looking for a Radiology Tech I - NUHW (National Union of Healthcare Workers) with Radiology - Sotoyome at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule: Full Time - 80 biweekly hours
Shift: 8-hour, Days
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Imaging Services, the Radiologic Technologist I will perform a variety of radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures using the proper radiation safety practices.
Consistently produces quality diagnostic radiographs, utilizing proper techniques consistent with department protocols and radiation safety practices.
Correctly identifies patient and monitors patient's condition including any special needs (language, handicap, age, etc.).
Responds to emergencies properly. Triages patients according to their acuity level.
Supplies pertinent clinical information for the exam being performed, making certain that it correlates to appropriateness departmental guidelines.
Knowledge of radiological and associated patient care skills.
Teamwork and flexibility skills.
H.S. Diploma or GED
Or equivalent education/experience
Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining fluoro permit within 6 months of hire date.
CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
- One (1) year experience in an acute care facility.
