Santa Rosa Memorial is currently seeking an experienced Hospital Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Summary:

The Hospital Facilities Maintenance Technician performs a multitude of engineering tasks to include the operation, repair and maintenance of all hospital utilities and equipment in order to provide continuous and uninterrupted service to the environment of care. The Hospital Facilities Maintenance Technician also performs specific tests and inspections on critical building systems as well as routine preventive maintenance and repairs of a variety of hospital related equipment which provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees.

*This position requires the flexibility to work at both Petaluma Valley Hospital or Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital locations. Must be flexible to working any shift, Day, Evenings, or Nights as needed. Must also be willing to be On Call* .

Essential Functions:

  • Assists the Chief Engineer by performing assigned work requests, scheduled or unscheduled.

  • Maintains and repairs hospital systems and engineering equipment.

  • Maintains and operates hospital critical utility systems.

  • Responsible for observing all safety regulations and procedures.

  • Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the department.

Position Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Journeyman level experience within a multi-facility hospital, large hotel, high rise building, or high tech company preferred

  • Experience with electrical, HVAC and general maintenance, preferred

  • CFC certification a plus
