Description:

Providence is calling a Phlebotomist (Per Diem/Day Shift) to Saint Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, CA.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

• Perform some or all of the following duties as directed by the Team leader:

• Perform phlebotomy

• Coordinate collection of blood specimens from patients, may assist in specimen information processing and receiving of specimens, reports, and other departmental data

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or College credits toward an advanced degree

• California DHS Phlebotomy License or equivalent

• Current CPR Certificate

• Minimum of six (6) months phlebotomy experience

• Minimum of one (1) year office work experience

• Minimum of one (1) year laboratory experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Minimum of six (6) months acute care hospital experience
