Providence is calling a Supervisor to Imaging for Full-Time Variable Shift to Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA

We are seeking a Supervisor Imaging who will coordinate the provision of services for the Department of Imaging; assist in the planning, directing, and coordinating of activities within the department to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Health Center and the Department of Imaging. Promote quality service for Saint John's patients in all Imaging sections.

In this position you will:

• Prioritize work and provides prompt and efficient service

• Demonstrate competency in selected administrative skills. Includes but not limited to:

• Work with other units/areas to solve interdepartmental problems

• Coordinate and maintain required records to meet licensing and accreditation requirements of governmental, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA, and other accrediting and licensing agencies

• Act as a resource for all functions of Imaging

• Demonstrate Managerial Skills including but not limited to:

• Develop and collaboratively implements strategic plans/programs/policies

• Effectively manages departmental resources

• Facilitate employee and team development

• Establish and support team in maintaining service, policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement programs, safety, environmental and infection control standards

• Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for own performance on team in regards to:

• Attendance and punctuality

• Positive public relations image and working relationships

• Obtaining necessary knowledge and skill needed to maintain competence

• Completing all mandatory requirements

• Participate in the development and attainment of team, department, and hospital goals including:

• Attending and participating in team meetings

• Volunteering or accepting assignments for projects

• Mission, vision and team ground rules

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program

• Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch (C.R.T.)

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).

• Current Basic Life Support certification

• 3 years Radiologic Technologist

• Supervisory or management in hospital or medical setting

• Effective human relations and oral/written communication skills

• Organizes highly detailed information

• Answers telephone
