Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Associate to join our growing Laboratory Administration team located in Richland, Washington!

H.S. Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
Customer service/public interaction experience.
Recent healthcare experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology and exposure to clinical healthcare environment, preferably in Bloodless Medicine.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Associateyou will organize and act as a liaison for clinical operations and activities of the Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program during the absence of the Program Coordinator. Assist clients in understanding their options, the informed consent process, and completion of appropriate forms and serves as an advocate for Bloodless Medicine Surgery Program (BMSP) clients.

Organize and maintain the operations of the Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program during the Coordinator’s absence.
Assist clients on an individual basis.
Respond to questions from clients or caregivers by telephone or in person concerning client's needs for assistance by referring client to participating physicians and/or by providing educational information, clarifying forms and hospital policy.
Monitor safety of BMSP patients by verifying that protocols are being followed.
Adhere to standard policies as outlined in the department related to infection control, fire and safety, hazardous chemicals, personnel policies and departmental procedures.
