Providence Health & Services Senior Business Partner, Practice Optimization in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Business Partner, Practice Optimization to any location within our Providence footprint or any approved remote location.
We are seeking a Senior Business Partner, Practice Optimization who will collaborate with regional partners under the direction of Enterprise Care Management leaders. This role will utilize our population health analytics platform to help regions make data informed decisions to drive population health initiatives, practice transformation, and strategy through the lens of Health Equity. This position will collaborate and share knowledge across the system.
The Senior Business Partner will be the primary contact and trusted advisor for a designated set of service areas. This position requires a solid mastery of evidence, data, health care delivery, and workflow and to have a working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or other User / Reporting Interfaces with the expectation they will be enterprise ""super users"" of our population health analytics platform.
This position is a senior level position with advanced knowledge. The person in this role will serve as a mentor and coach for skills development for team members as needed. The person is this role will provide project, technical, and process guidance to team members and project participants as needed.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Analytic Consultation: Work with Regional team to identify and evaluate trends in health care, local conditions, economic conditions and competitive institutions.
Clinical Insight: Understand how data can be used to provide insights for: 1) Population identification, stratification & segmentation, 2) Health, risk & needs assessment, 3) Transition and continuity of care gaps, 4) Care coordination among providers and community partners, 5) Whole person care (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social), 6) Access, 7) Outcome reporting, and 8) Evaluation of metrics.
Project Intake: Working with parters to clarify and understanding business need, goals, strategy, and impact. Gathering scope and deliverables being requested. Collaborating with ECMC Subject Matter Experts on solution design.
CPH User Interface: Works within PowerBI and other software products to support data analytics initiatives for the Population Health ECMC team. Serves as subject matter expert and first point of contact for regional care management teams in utilizing and understanding the CPH dashboards
Project Leadership: Serves as a project lead and provide project, technical, and process guidance to team members and project participants as needed.
Regional Service Area Meetings: Coordination and facilitation of regional service area meetings; management of any follow up / requests as they are identified
Problem Solving: Able to identify and resolve problems or difficulties while retaining strong and effective working relationships staying calm and objective under the stress of deadlines and obstacles
Mentoring and Coaching: Serves as a mentor and coach for skills development for team members as needed.
Performs other duties and special projects as required and assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors degree ; BA/BS degree Nursing, Social Work, other clinical discipline or equivalent experience
6 years Relevant experience in a healthcare / clinical setting.
5 years Relevant analytics experience using and creating metrics, analysis, and reports
4 years Relevant experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
4 years Relevant experience with PowerBI or compariable tools
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Masters Degree in Nursing, Social Work, other clinical discipline or equivalent experience
