Providence Clinical Business Analyst (FTE 1.0, Days) in Renton, Washington
Providence is calling a Clinical Business Analyst (Full-Time, Days) to our location in Renton, Washington.
We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst who will be responsible for patient experience reporting and survey administration. Patient experience reporting includes the development and maintenance of patient experience reports as well as keeping measure specifications current. Survey administration includes responsibility for the day to day administration of patient experience surveying for Physician Enterprise: maintaining a list of providers for surveying, managing access to patient experience data portals and reports, tracking the response rate and a number of surveys sent and received, being a subject matter expert on patient experience surveying and fielding questions from people across the organization. This role communicates with a wide level of stakeholders and leads small to medium-sized projects. This position supports Providence Physician Enterprise and the regional medical groups. The position reports to the Manager, Patient Experience and Quality Analytics, and must establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels in the Providence Shared Serves, as well as with other Providence staff, vendors and agents, and others. This position works closely with Executive leadership in Physician Enterprise, Patient Experience, Value-Based Contracting, Population Health Informatics, Information Services, and Quality Leaders across the Providence system.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Serves as subject matter expert for all topics around patient experience reporting and survey administration.
Tracks provider onboarding/offboarding for proper patient experience measurement and reporting.
Manages access to patient experience data portals and reports.
Aids in developing and maintaining patient experience reports.
Analyzes patient experience data.
Supports multiple, concurrent projects that cross divisional boundaries.
Maintains a positive work environment and good rapport with leadership, staff, vendors, and consultants.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree but not limited to Public Health, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Analytics, Information Technology
1-year of experience with patient experience/satisfaction surveying, and/or other survey creation, analysis, and administration
1-year of experience using office software such as Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Demonstrated written and oral communication that is timely, accurate, professional, consistent, and targeted to the appropriate audience
Excellent personal organization skills to effectively manage tasks, information, and respond to rapidly changing information.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree such as but not limited to MHA, MBA, MPH
1-year of Business Analysis, or related experience
1-year project management experience
1-year of experience with patient experience/satisfaction vendors, such as Press Ganey, NRC, etc
1-year experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software.
1-year of experience using electronic health record applications, and specifically Epic.
1-year of experience with text-based mobile patient feedback surveys
Knowledge and understanding of ambulatory clinical practices, operations, and healthcare quality standards as well as the patient experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate group discussions to elicit and prioritize clinical, operational, regulatory, and quality requirements.
