Providence Senior IS Project Coordinator PSJH in Redmond, Washington
Description:
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior IS Project Coordinator PSJH to our location in Redmond, WA or Portland, OR.
Strategic Technology Enablement (STE) within the Providence Information Services organization, proactively engages with five key Providence technology partners (TPs): Corporate Communications, Marketing-DEX, Community Partnerships, Population Health, Research-Clinical Services. STE and TPs collaborate to ensure strategy alignment between our respective orgs, ensure operational support from IS, and work within a governance and cadence framework.
We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to participate in relevant projects, TP service ticket escalations, manages minor projects, provides daily support in maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, comfortable with ambiguity, producing project reports, and provides other general office support. The Senior Project Coordinator must be effective in time management while dealing with multiple projects and tasks.
In this role, the Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in implementation of projects and programs assigned to the team in a manner that achieves the strategic goals of Providence St. Joseph Health.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Strategic
Proactively understands and participates in the organization's strategic plans and objectives.
Supports activities to influence decisions in order to ensure work towards project objectives, including scope, schedule, budget, vendor, and change management.
Proactively identifies problems and can devise proposed solutions independently or through collaboration with others.
Management
Manages small or low complexity project tasks with minimal supervision to no supervision.
Manages small or low complexity projects with minimal supervision.
Creates work plans, schedules, and/or task lists for small or low complexity projects or as a part of larger, more complex projects.
Tracks, coordinates, and at times owns processes set up to support successful budget management in partnership with project/program management.
Coordinates all aspects of capital purchasing / appropriate operational expenditures, and assists with managing the project budget.
Operational
Works independently under the direction of a project manager or program manager to oversee portions of large or complex projects.
Defines communication plans, work plans, and coordinates the work of project team members and other project/program management professionals.
Develops, maintains and distributes program/project information and documentation using standard documentation. May include meeting agendas, minutes, scheduling meetings, status reports, share department documents, SharePoint, PR3 / ServiceNow and others.
Performs assigned individual project tasks and modules and contributes to completion of team tasks accurately and timely.
Runs reports and analyzes data through PR3 / ServiceNow software to support specific project work.
Plans, coordinates and facilitates for multiple project meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Project Management, Business, Clinical Operations or Information Technology or equivalent education/experience.
4 years demonstrated work experience in organizing, facilitating, and assisting in planning a project or business/clinical operations.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Basic programming knowledge or desire to learn.
Ability to build and maintain Power BI reports, SharePoint, and MS Forms.
Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and interruptions.
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and follow through on assigned tasks and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to adapt well to changing environment and respond quickly to requests and needs of environment.
Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Strong communication and listening skills
Demonstrated customer service skills.
