Providence Work2BeWell Director in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Work2BeWell Director to our location in Renton, Washington or Oregon or California.
We are seeking a Work2BeWell Director who will serve as the leader over our national digital wellness program (Work2BeWell) and is accountable for national program expansion, curriculum, digital assets (website, future app, social media accounts, future gaming platforms), external education partnerships, the national student advisory council (NSAC), program fundraising (in partnership with system philanthropy), and alignment with key stakeholders (other Community Partnerships programs, Mental Health CPG, HR, Population Health). This role will oversee program staff including internal and external education consultants. This role will be an external face for our Work2BeWell program and will represent Providence with national students, educators, administrators, and non-profit educational organizations. It will also interface with key social media organizational leadership such as Instagram / Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, etc.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead the execution of Work2BeWell, our national digital wellness program.
Oversee our digital hub (website), future apps and gaming platforms and social platforms.
Oversee the creation, maintenance and refinement of student and educator curriculum.
Ensure stakeholders are aligned across the program- external education leaders, students (including the national student advisory council [NSAC]), population health, mental health CPG, communications and social influencer teams.
Plan, facilitate, and/or execute events, summits, symposiums, and kick-off meetings as required to support program objectives.
Accountable for overall program plans and dashboards.
Partner with our social influencing team to reinforce, enhance and grow the organizational voice and narrative of Providence through consistent, proactive communication sharing. Lead all Work2BeWell social platform messaging on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Accountable for key performance indicators and ongoing progress reporting against goals and relevant metrics.
Acts as a change agent and champion for education related mental health programs and investments.
Mentor direct reports and leads performance development and related activities for direct reports. Manage external contractors (education experts) and the National Student Advisory Council.
Work closely with partner organizations (e.g. State and National Association of Student Councils, NAMI State Associations, NAMI National, YouthLine, TeenLine, National Suicide Crisis Hotlines) to broaden our impact.
Oversee the deployment of mental health lesson plans in state conferences (WACA, CADA, etc.) schools, camps, after school programs, etc. in partnership with our behavioral health leaders and program team.
Accountable for our external facing messaging and partnerships nationally.
Accountable for budget ($250K a year philanthropy additions).
Partner with system philanthropy to raise money to increase impact of the program.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in any area of study or Master's Degree Mental health, education, public health, healthcare administration, business administration or related field.
3 years leadership experience
10 or more years of demonstrated professional work experience, particularly in strategy execution. This must include experience working in complicated matrixes and successful navigation of challenging communication environments.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 3 years experience working in education or non-profit / community (primary and secondary education; non-profits) environment.
