Providence is calling a Senior Research Assistant - Program Development Neuro Muscular Skeletal (1.0 FTE, Days) to St. Vincent East Pavillion in Portland, OR
We are seeking a Senior Research Coordinator - Program Development Neuro Muscular Skeletal that will function under the supervision of research manager to perform clinical research activities. Facilitates the conduct of clinical trials, with low to moderate complexity, by working collaboratively with sponsors, monitors, investigators, regulatory/contract CRA, and IRB to establish research plans and project timetables and coordinate resources needed to ensure productivity and timely completion of project. The duties include subject screening and enrollment, collecting research data and sample, and working with internal and external partners to support clinical trials in Providence Brain and Spine Institute.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with internal and external members of the study team concerning review and initiation of new studies, prepare inform consent and regulatory document, report AE/SAE and protocol deviation according, and assisting with continuing review of ongoing study and close-out of completed study
Assist physician investigator with screening and recruiting study participants
Work with physician investigator to coordinate study activities for the entire study period
Schedule study visits and procedures, conduct study visits to collect information and sample from study participants in accordance with GCP
Collect and manage study records by using source documents, case report forms, medical records, and other electronic databases or systems
Support physician investigator to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of study data and submit data per sponsor request
Support physician investigators to ensure compliance with study protocols
Required qualifications for this position includes:
One (1) year of experience with clinical research and/or direct patient interaction
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Science or health related field
Experience with clinical trials, neuroscience, medical terminology, electronic medical record
