We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Patient Safety and Risk Coordinator - Risk Compliance And Safety that will work with the Providence Medical Group Safety Officer and Risk/Compliance Manager to meet the objectives of the Safety and Risk Programs. This may include investigation of quality of care issues, reviewing and revising policies and procedures, surveying clinics for environment of care, infection control and clinical risk processes, teaching principles of safety and risk plus performing other duties related to safety, compliance and risk management.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Monitor and prepare evidence of compliance for regulatory audits and accreditation surveys
Act as resource expert for training clinic staff related to safety and risk management
Be responsible for identifying and triaging safety and risk management issues
Assist the Risk and Safety Managers in developing a comprehensive tracking, monitoring and training program for clinic staff related to patient safety and risk
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Certification of Registered Nurse
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a multi-disciplinary team
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Experience in safety and risk management
Five (5) years work experience in quality improvement
Demonstrated experience in quality improvement tools and techniques, including rapid cycle improvement methods
