Providence is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) Lead & Medication Aide to join our team at Glendoveer ElderPlace Residential Care Facility in Portland, Oregon. This is a full time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week), benefited position with a variable schedule. We are hiring immediately – apply today!

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) Lead will serve in a leadership role with other PCAs to complete all required documentation, assure that all care and medications are administered appropriately, to solve problems and communicate with the staff on the next shift. PCAs will perform basic and routine quality care to ElderPlace residents including assisting them in the activities of daily living and other personal care tasks.
Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide, Hospice Aide, Patient Care Assistant or Personal Care Assistant in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, nursing home or home health setting is a plus!

Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and standard first aide
Two (2) years of experience as a caregiver with elderly patients
Six (6) months of medication administration experience
High school diploma or GED
Coursework/Training: completion of approved medication administration training or equivalent education/experience
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Oregon
One (1) year of medication administration experience
