Providence Manager, Regional Pharmacy Oncology Program in Portland, Oregon


Providence is calling a Manager Regional Oncology Pharmacy Program - Pharmacy (1.0 FTE, Variable/Rotating) to St Vincent Mob East Pavillion in Portland, OR

We are seeking a Manager Regional Oncology Pharmacy Program who wll plan, develop, coordinate and manage oncology clinical and operational pharmacy services for the hospital-based oncology infusion clinics.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day operations and responsibilities of the pharmacy team in the oncology infusion clinics.

  • Develop, implement and manage oncology clinical pharmacy practice model.

  • Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy, Joint Commission and HRSA regulations.

  • Oversee the procurement and distribution of pharmaceuticals within the clinics. Provides input to the formulary committee regarding oncology medications


Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy

  • Board certification in oncology pharmacy required or at the earliest convenience once they are qualified to take the exam

  • State licensure as a Pharmacist or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment

  • Five (5) years pharmacy experience within a clinic, hospital or health-system (or equivalent residency experience).

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • PharmD

  • Coursework/Training - PGY-1 and PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency
