Providence Health & Services Environmental Services Supervisor in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling an Environmental Services Supervisor to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time, benefited, evening shift position. Hours are 5:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. with one day of the week being 7:00 p.m. - 3:30 a.m. Days will rotate with every other weekend off.
We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor who will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and supervision of all activities of the Environmental Services Department within Providence Portland Medical Center. The main function of the Environmental Services Department is to provide a safe, clean, orderly, and infection free environment enhancing employee and patient satisfaction. Environmental Services also acts as support to the Linen, and Patient Transportation departments.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Directly supervise employees with varying degrees of educational and communication skills.
Assign work, monitor quality, implement policies and procedures as directed making recommendations for procedure changes to streamline processes and increase productivity.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
5 years experience working in the health care field.
1 year supervisory experience in basic personnel.
