St. Joseph Health / Covenant Health Ultrasound Technologist - Radiology Ultrasound in Petaluma, California

We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist - NUHW (National Union of Healthcare Workers) with Radiology Ultrasound at SRM Alliance Hospital Services.

Location: Petaluma, CA

Schedule: Part time - 16 Biweekly hours

Shift: 8-hour Variable (Days)

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) performs diagnostic sonographic

procedures as ordered by a staff physician or LIP with minimal supervision from the Manager of Imaging Services.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of the human anatomy

  • Good skills in communication and patient rapport

  • Teamwork and flexibility skills.

Position Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited school of Medical Sonography or accredited health care service program.

Experience:

  • Two years recent experience as a Medical Sonographer preferred in an acute care setting, including proficiency in all standard studies (abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and small parts).

License/Certification:

  • RDMS or eligible.

  • CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
