St. Joseph Health / Covenant Health EVS - Housekeeping in Orange, California

Our team is looking for an EVS Representative to join our Housekeeping team at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange. This is an on call, per diem position on the night shift (must have weekend availability).

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Clean and service building areas according to established schedules, policies, and procedures.

  • Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.

  • Consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SJHS core values and the Hospital’s mission statement.

Qualifications and Skills needed for this role:

Required Qualifications:

  • Six (6) to twelve (12) months of work experience.

  • Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment (i.e. mop, vacuum, high duster, extractor, scrubber).

  • Ability to set priorities, adapt to changing conditions and frequent interruptions.

  • Positive, effective telephone skills. Must be able to answer calls promptly, speak clearly, and respond accurately to varying situations.

  • Flexibility to adapt to new and changing situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Job related experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.

  • Housekeeping/Janitorial experience.
