St. Joseph Health / Covenant Health Environmental Services Representative - Outpatient in Orange, California
Advance your career working at a Magnet recognized hospital known for clinical quality and patient safety. Our team is looking for an EVS Representative to join our Outpatient EVS team at St. Joseph Hospital of Orange. This is a full time, night shift position for a total of 80 biweekly hours.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Clean and service building areas according to established schedules, policies, and procedures.
Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
Consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SJHS core values and the Hospital’s mission statement.
Qualifications and Skills needed for this role:
Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment (i.e. mop, vacuum, high duster, extractor, scrubber).
Ability to set priorities, adapt to changing conditions and frequent interruptions.
Positive, effective telephone skills. Must be able to answer calls promptly, speak clearly, and respond accurately to varying situations.
Flexibility to adapt to new and changing situations.
High School Diploma or GED.
Six (6) to twelve (12) months of work experience.
Job related experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
