Providence Ultrasonographer in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Ultrasonographer (1.0 FTE, Nights) to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
Provides quality care to patients. Performs US exams proficiently to provide Radiologist with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management.
In this position you will:
Scans independently as an Ultrasonographer for patients of various age groups. Performs procedures to produce satisfactory results for diagnostic interpretation
Completes all paperwork & tracking associated with US exams
Plans & arranges workload. Participates in overall functionality of DI Dept. Orders exams, Labs and enters charges
Provides care appropriate to the patient population; Neonate; Pediatric; Adolescent; Adult; Older Adult
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of approved school of medical sonography
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS); for new graduates, registration with the ARDMS must occur within six months of hire
