St. Joseph Health / Covenant Health Shift Lead RN - Med/Surg in Napa, California

We are looking for a Shift Lead RN with Medical/Surgical Department at Queen of the Valley Medical Center

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Full time

Shift: 12 hour - Days

Job Summary:

Responsible for coordinating planned care with available staff, implementing the plan, and evaluating the care delivered to assigned patients. Responsible for the direction, assignment, coordination, evaluation and supervision of patient care on a specified unit. Identifies and solves patient related problems. Contributes to self-development and unit leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers. Performs all work under minimal supervision.

Position Requirements:

Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant RN experience in a clinical setting

License/Certification:

  • Current California RN license

  • Current Healthcare ProviderBLS certification

Preferred PositionQualifications:

  • Specialty certificationrelated to practice

  • Previousleadership/supervisory experience

  • ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRPcertification

  • BSN degree

  • Certification in Gerontology

  • Certfication inRehabilitation

  • Certification in Orthopedics

  • Six (6) months acute careexperience
