Are you an experienced EKG Technician that is ready to workfor a mission focused, family-like work environment? Come join our team! OurNapa Cardiology office is seeking an experienced EKG Tech to enhance our wellestablished, team oriented group of caregivers.
The EKG Technician is responsible for performing EKGs, andpreparing for the physicians, completed tests that areaccurate reflections ofthe patient’s physiology.
Performanceof standard 12-Lead EKGs.
TrainsAssociate EKG Tech
Holtermonitor placement, monitoring and scanning, processing of data.
Assistthe physician with standard testing, nuclear enhanced treadmill test, andpharmacological stress tests.
Responsiblefor maintaining and cleaning equipment.
Completestests and prepares information reports for the physician interpretation.
Performsapplication/ Education of Even Monitors.
Ordering and stockingof supplies.
Application ofsafety principles when performing duties.
Education : Requires a High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Requires one (1) to three (3) years’ experience in an ambulatory care facility or medical group practice.
Current BLS required
- Basiccomputer skills including Microsoft Word, Windows and email required
Other : Knowledge of medical terminology

Mustbe able to work in a fast-paced department and handle multiple tasks, work withinterruptions, and deal effectively with confidential information.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Education : Completion of EKG Tech Course or Medical Assistant Certificate highly desirable.
Four(4) year previous experience as a Back Office Medical Assistant in anambulatory care facility or medical group practice highly desirable.
One(1) year plus experience as an EKG Technician highly desirable.
HolterMonitor and EKG/Stress testing experience preferred.
EKGCertification or Medical AssistantCertificate preferred
Computer Skills: EMR and/or IDX experience a plus.
Other: Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
