Providence Mammography Radiologic Technologist Registered in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Mammography Radiologic Technologist Registered (Imaging Services, Days, 0.6 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Complete all paperwork on patient before going on to next patient.
Finish cases completely or reports to another tech.
Maintain mammography MQSA standards, including procedural, quality control, and personal.
Pre-educate the patient and family prior to exam.
Empty dirty linen daily.
Report any broken equipment to Bio-Med.
Clean Machines, rooms, patient waiting room, and dressing area as needed
Stock room supplies after procedures
Call for prior mammograms
Call patients needing additional views
Utilize Volpara to check quality of images
Required qualifications for this position include:
Education required to receive MSRT
Must have Montana State Radiologic License (MSRT) and be registered by ARRT for Mammography.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.
