Job Summary:

Provides spiritual care to all patients/families, hospital staff, physicians, volunteers, and other in assigned clinical areas. Functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients/families in assigned clinical area. Participates in building church/hospital relationships. Works cooperatively with other Staff Chaplains, Interns/Residents and Supervisors-In-Training in CPE. Participates fully as a student in the Clinical Pastoral Education program. Moderate supervision is required.

Essential Function:

  • Provides spiritual care to all patients/families and hospital staff in assigned clinical areas.

  • Functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team caring for patient/families in the assigned areas.

  • Participates in on-call coverage f the hospital as assigned.

  • Conducts worship services, arranges for baptisms, and delivers communion.

  • Assists in departmental administrative duties.

  • Provides pastoral counseling.

  • Provides necessary documentation on all information relevant to pastoral care.

  • Cooperates fully as a student in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some college or Bachelor's Degree.
