St. Joseph Health / Covenant Health Office Coordinator, SWMP - Full Time in Lubbock, Texas

Covenant Health is seeking a Full Time Day Shift Office Coordinator for the Shared SWMP Second Floor at Covenant Medical Group.

Job Summary:

With minimal supervision, under the direction of the Supervisor, the Office Coordinator assists in the day to day management of resources and provides clinical support and direction within the Grace Medical Group. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments throughout the organization. Utilizes knowledge gained of practices and procedures of assigned functions to assist in the daily administration and coordination all departmental activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures functions pertaining primarily to accounts payable and payroll are properly maintained, efficiently ran and controlled.

  • Process and enter invoices and create memos into SSAP for all departments. Serve as Corporation 4200 reviewer for SSAP.

  • Maintain Kronos timekeeping system and people soft processes. Generate weekly time sheets for Payroll department and correct all departments time issues.

  • Make daily deposits for clinics. Maintain Cash logs, and petty cash for PBX, CBO, and ER departments.

  • Obtain authorizations/approvals from insurance companies as needed for surgeries, procedures, injections, etc.

  • Work with Administration on special projects. Proficiency in Epic for performing scheduling functions.

  • Oversee supply requisitions (PMM) and distribution. Ensuring that best practices are maintained as it relates to supply stock and expense.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Experience :

  • 3 years of complex medical office experience

Preferred Position Qualifications:

Education :

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Coursework/Training - Some college work.

License/Certification :

  • BLS Certification
