Covenant Health is seeking a full time Nursing Coordinator with the CovenantSchool of Nursing.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator is a Professional Registered Nurse who facilitates and manages the assigned responsibilities, supervises and evaluates faculty, staff or students, and manages flow of assigned outcomes. Coordinators actively participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Nursing Program.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and updates assigned outcomes.

  • Improves quality of education through research and evidence-based practice.

  • Supervises and evaluates faculty or student performance.

  • Organizes the design and production of teaching or learning experiences.

  • Interprets and enforces governing, state and national standards, laws and regulations for assigned responsibilities.

  • Develops and implements performance/quality improvement priorities.

  • Actively participates in Faculty Organization, committees, organizational leadership activities and state and national organizations.

  • Maintains excellent leadership ability and seeks professional growth opportunities.

  • Serves as a professional role model for students, faculty/staff and the community.

  • Maintains awareness of current trends in nursing education/healthcare which guides the decision-making process.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Education : Master's Degree in Nursing

Experience : 3 years of Nursing education experience and leadership experience

Licenses and Certifications : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
