Description:

Providence is calling a Patient Care Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to the Radiant Care Lacey Clinic in Lacey, WA. Occasional travel also required to Abereen and Centralia Clinics.

The Patient Care Coordinator will participate in a variety of patient and non-patient activities to assist the Radiation Oncologist in providing a competent and caring environment for patients and their families.

In this position you will:

• Must perform well in stressful and emergency situations

• Must be well versed in the use of computer systems

• Locates and obtains pertinent information and records prior to patient’s appointment

• Copies patient records for insurance companies and other physician offices

• Responsible for scheduling of: Consultations, follow-up, re-evaluations, Prostate Seed Implants, pre-op appointments, Volume studies, diagnostic tests, lab tests, simulations and others as applicable

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• High School Diploma or GED

• One (1) year experience working in a medical setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Experience with electronic medical records
