Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior HRSC Advisor to our location in Irvine, CA or Renton, WA. The position works 100% remotely.

We are seeking a Senior HRSC Advisor to be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR related functions within the HR Service Center. Serves as single point of contact to address Tier 3 issues that cannot be addressed by vendor. Liaison between vendor (IBM) and Field HR to resolve issues without having to escalate. Accountable for timely and effective response, management, resolution, escalation of incoming inquiries, in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Applies critical thinking to resolve complex HR questions which will include intricate transactional processing across a breadth of HR functional areas, such as personnel, onboarding, hiring, benefits, employment related changes, termination processes and other HR activities. Has demonstrated proficiency in all areas of responsibilities, and is the SME for the department and serves as liaison to COEs. Mentors and supports training for new member and/or process changes and new initiatives. Perform all duties in a manner which demonstrates exceptional customer service, fosters a team concept and reflects the organizational values. Requires an effective and professional working relationship with all levels of the organization, including caregivers and customers. Provides next level of escalation support for vendors, department and customers.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as single point of contact for IBM; resolve complex issues; liaison between IBM & Field HR to resolve issues without escalation.

  • Demonstrate service excellence and positive interpersonal relations in dealing with others, including vendors, caregivers, candidates, internal and external customers, to maximize productivity and service delivery results

  • Respond timely to complex questions, including researching appropriate information and soliciting SME input when requested and appropriate.

  • Research policies, practices and data to verify accuracy of information submitted.

  • Escalate issues, where required, through a formalized issue/inquiry escalation process within HR Services as well as to other business partners, where applicable

  • Assist the team in the communication of process changes, process improvements, procedure development and quality measures. May prepare documentation and training.

  • Perform uploaded transaction processing of employee information, execute data audits, prepare audit results, and complete complex benefits transactions.

  • Responsible for accurate input of all transactions into HR systems within specific and designated time frames to ensure timely processing of deliverables and SLA’s.

  • Accurate and timely maintenance of caregiver and candidate personal information and employment related actions, such as benefits, onboarding, deductions, etc. .

  • Review HR forms for accuracy, completeness and compliance, following organizational standards.

  • Adhere to performance standards, metrics and SLA’s as outlined for the department and individual.

  • May run custom reports and queries; analyze results and prepares for distribution and/or present information.

  • Ensure accuracy of data input by developing and executing quality and auditing measures.

  • Demonstratesextensive knowledge and application of all compliance and legal requirements of the job based on the scope of practice of the position

  • Use critical thinking and strategic methodology to identify and develop innovative service delivery solutions. Provide HR Service Center user expertise on projects, may lead small projects with limited supervision.

  • Assure compliance with confidentiality policies, in accordance with State and Federal laws, maintain confidentiality of caregiver, patient, and business related information.

  • Fully support field and organizational requests for audit activities and investigations.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent education/experience.

  • Two (2) years of experience in human resources, benefits administration or payroll, or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience navigating multiple computer screens, including entry of required information.

  • Additional experience, education or training in the areas of Human Resources or Payroll.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR or CEBS).
