JOB SUMMARY :

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing quality care for patients receiving occupational therapy services, including evaluation, assessment, treatment planning, goal setting, treatment implementation, discharge planning to transition the patient toward maximum independence.

The occupational therapist must document according to professional and facility standards. This Occupational Therapist follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current and competent in critical areas and support program goals, hospital goals and objectives, hospital functions and philosophy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy professional program or comparable education approved by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.

License/Certification:

  • Current and valid California license as a registered occupational therapist.

  • Certification of completion of training in American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider level.
