We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator with SJuHMG Clinical Trials Department at St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare.

Location: Fullerton, CA

Schedule: Full-time

Shift: Day

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Medical Office Administrator, the Clinical Research Coordinator oversees the day to day functions of multiple clinical research studies. This role is responsible for interfacing with the Principal Investigator, Patient, Sponsor, and the IRB. This position is directly responsible to ensure that all documentation is timely and accurate and works closely with the PI to ensure strict compliance to study protocols (GCP/ICH).


  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Windows, and an e-mail system.

  • Medical terminology.

  • High level of customer services skills with a genuine caring approach to helping people.

  • Maintain a positive attitude with changing conditions.

  • Requires strong written and verbal communications skills to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Must be able to work under general supervision.

  • Must have a professional and mature demeanor.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced department and handle multiple tasks, work with interruptions, and deal effectively with confidential information.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interactions with patients and staff.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills, preferred.

Position Requirements:

Education: H.S. Diploma or GED

Experience: 2 years of experience in a Clinical Research setting. 3 years preferred.

License and Certification:

  • MA or Phlebotomy Certificate.

  • Current BLS (CPR) Certificate.

Preferred Position Requirements:


  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited Medical or Phlebotomy training program.

  • Graduate of a Vocational School or college.

  • Coursework/Training: Biohazardous Material packaging training.

License and Certification: Current LVN license in State of California preferred.
