We are looking for a Base Hospital Coordinator RN with Paramedic
Service Department at St. Jude Medical Center.
Location: Fullerton, CA
Schedule: Full-time 80 Biweekly Hour
Shift: 8 Hour Day Shift
The Base Hospital Care Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the OCEMS Base designation P&P 610.00 and Paramedic Receiving Center at SJMC.
The Coordinator shall be responsible for developing/providing appropriate educational programs for staff, physicians, EMT-P and EMT personnel, and the community. The Coordinator shall be responsible for performance improvement, data collection and maintenance of all quality improvement programs.
Must meet OCEMS requirements for EMS Continuing Education Program
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
Ability to problem solve, analyze situations, think critically.
Have effective teaching and team building skills.
Able to provide team members with constructive feedback.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree Nursing
5 years Experience in Emergency or Critical Care nursing.
Currently authorized as an Orange County MICN.
3 years Experience as a MICN.
License and Certification:
Current registration with the California Board of Registered Nurses.
Basic Cardiac Life Support provider.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider.
Mobile Intensive Care Nurse – Orange County EMS.
Preferred Position Requirements:
Teaching credentials or equivalent experience.
Performance Improvement experience.
