Find what you’re looking for in your career, at PacMed as a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist ( Per Diem , Week Days, Flexible Hours, Travel) to work in the Cardiovascular Laboratory at satellite clinics in Seattle, Renton and Federal Way
Provides complete cardiac and vascular ultrasound evaluations, including but not limited to stress echocardiograms and vascular physiologic testing, including completion of preliminary reports on anatomical, physiologic, and pathologic data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease
In this position you will:
Independently conduct transthoracic and stress echocardiograms, vascular sonograms, and arterial physiological testing in outpatient care settings.
Assess appropriateness of orders for testing and confer with cardiology or vascular staff when concerns arise.
Write and proof reports.
Assess patient needs in terms of urgent care.
Perform all related scheduling, paperwork and computer work.
Willing to accept other responsibilities as given by supervisor.
Considered for per diem to FTE hire.
Completion of cardiovascular sonography program or equivalent educ/experience
Credentialing through the National Registry – ARDMS as RDCS and RVT, or CCI; or successful completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography program prior to hire, and certification within one year of employment. Must maintain credentialing.
BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- 1 year of recent experience as cardiovascular sonographer.
