Providence is calling an Ultrasound Technologist (0.75 FTE, Night Shift) to work in Imaging Services at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA.

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound scans on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

In this position you will:

• Demonstrates application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool.

• Performs all required exams.

• Greets and orients patient and families appropriately.

• Procedures are performed effectively and efficiently following established protocols.

• All clinical and billing data is accurate, completed and submitted as required

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Associate's Degreeor 2 years technical program or equivalent educ/experience

• Completions of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program

• One specialty test (either Abdomen or OB) must be taken within 6 months of hire. The remaining specialty test (either Abdomen or OB) must be obtained within one year of hire

• Passing of ARDMS physics tests

• Valid CPR card is required and must be obtained within 2 weeks from date of hire

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Prior ultrasound experience

• ARDMS in Abdomen and OB
