Description:
Providence is calling a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) (Per Diem, Day Shift) to the Women's Health Services at Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse (RN) who will ork under the general direction of the practitioner or Clinic Supervisor to assess, evaluate, implement and follow-up in matters of direct and indirect patient care. Supervise the overall delivery of healthcare in the clinic setting. Establish and maintain effective relationships with LPNs, Medical Assistants, and administrative support staff in order to organize and deliver cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity.
In this position you will:
Effectively implement Standard Universal Precautions and Body Substance Isolation in all laboratory duties.
Triage patients and communicate urgent patient needs to the practitioner.
Anticipate the needs of the patient and the practitioner during the exam.
Draw blood; perform EKGs, laboratory and x-rays; assist with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures to appropriate level of training and established procedures.
Insure patient privacy and comfort during the exam; instruct patients in the collection of samples and other tests.
Obtain body fluid specimens including but not limited to urinary catheterization.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Completion and graduate from an accredited nursing program
Patient Care Experience
Current RN licensure in the State of Washington
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Recent experience in an acute care facility
Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) within 90 days of employment
