Providence Foundation Operations Officer in Anchorage, Alaska

Description:

Providence is calling a Foundation Operations Officer (Foundation, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Alaska Foundation in Anchorage, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Implement strategies to track, monitor, and evaluate data and processes related to Foundation operations using tools such as project charters, project plans, status tracking, and project reporting.

  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables.

  • Exercise sound judgement and expertise in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Implement strategies to track, monitor and evaluation financial data processes related to Foundation operations including but not limited to philanthropic revenue, expenses, budgets, distribution of funds to/from the Foundation, reconciliation of accounts, and period closing activities.

  • Work with accounting and finance teams as needed to ensure smooth flow of Foundation financial data.

  • Maintains appropriate data, financial, and project files electronically and hard copy as needed.

  • Implement strategies to ensure consistency and appropriateness in reporting of the Foundation financial data including but not limited to donor data, project tracking, and board or leadership reporting in alignment with Association for Health Philanthropy standards.

  • Implement strategies, together with Foundation team, for stewarding philanthropic gifts to the Foundation with a focus on donor retention.

  • Implement strategies for communicating with internal and external Foundation stakeholders through paper or digital channels. Provide high level of customer service and professional interaction with donors, patients, leaders, and other constituents in-person through digital communication channels. Exhibit compassionate care of others the recognize specific needs of all customers served with focus on organization values.

  • Implement strategies to keep policy and procedures implemented and up to date.

  • Implement strategies to support philanthropic initiatives of the Foundation through prospect management, metrics, fundraising, project partner management, and vendor management.

  • Support events and campaigns as needed.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years experience in fundraising, accounting/finance, or project management

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Non-profit, Business, Accounting, Health management or professions, or equivalent

  • 1 years experience with CRM databases

  • 2 years experience in health industry processes
