Location: Anaheim, CA
Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 Biweekly Hours
Shift: 8-hour, Days
The position is responsible for the effective management of small and large complex project(s) with completion within constraints of time, budget, and project structure. Role will include the potential need to coordinate with other PHS departments and outside third-party vendors, assign responsibilities where appropriate and report regularly on project status to sponsors and others, facilitate status meetings, set agendas, negotiate priorities, and provide direction and assign duties to project team members. Projects may include the need to coordinate and implement with ministries throughout Providence. In addition, role includes providing executive administrative responsibilities support to both Chief of Infusion and Pharmacy Services Pharmacy Director.
Project specifications include size of up to $100K and/or 9+ months duration or less complexity and strategic importance.
Demonstrates positive interactions with the public and positive interpersonal relations in dealing with fellow caregivers, managers, supervisors, and other department caregivers to maximize productivity and positive employee relations.
Works independently and manages time effectively. Makes informed decisions about where to invest efforts based on established priorities as demonstrated by completing assignments on time; communicating with customers and supervisors regarding prioritization and target completion dates based on business need or impact.
Responsible for developing a partnership with the project owner as well as assisting the customer with developing a project charter, budget, scope, and schedule. Is accountable for managing customer expectations across teams.
Responsible for managing a project to ensures that the project deliverables are complete. This may include plans, policies and procedures, new standards, issues list, project status. Project specifications include size of up to $100K and/or 9+ months duration or less complexity and strategic importance.
Researching and drafting detailed agreements with business partners.
Develops and deploys communication plans and messages.
Identifies metrics for department performance and projects and compiles data for administration.
Facilitates issue resolution and ensures that resolution is documented. Ensures adequate documentation and tracking of issues. Communicates major issues to management, staff, and customers.
Provides project status reporting. Facilitates regular reporting by conducting status meetings or other means as appropriate. Maintains project files, both electronic and paper.
Provides supervisory support to departments as needed.
ROLE IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
Results - Responsible for representing priorities in the development of medium projects.
Position Scope - Medium projects or large projects in support of a PM or Sr. PM.
Decision Making - Responsible for making project decisions for medium projects.
Strategy/Development - Works independently to use defined methods/techniques for tasks on projects.
People Management - Builds positive relationships. Resolves or escalates conflict appropriately.
Communication/Business Relationships - Utilized existing standards and structure for communicating projects results and/or works through the PM in support of communications.
Fiscal Responsibility - Responsible for medium Project Budget.
Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
Acquired knowledge of the healthcare business preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of project management areas including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, staffing, communications, risk, procurement, stakeholder, and software.
Intermediate analytical and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems or difficulties while retaining strong and effective working relationships staying calm and objective under the stress of deadlines and obstacles.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems or difficulties somewhat independently.
Demonstrates understanding of customer business needs.
Strong skills and abilities in negotiation, training, quality analysis, project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting.
Basic ability to lead, develop, direct, motivate, and gain the commitment of teams.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Education: Coursework/Training - Project management
4 years’ experience in related activities.
3 years’ experience on project teams as a project participant.
Intermediate experience with project management methodologies.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Coursework/Training - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate
3 years’ experience in a Healthcare organization.
Intermediate experience in the use of desktop software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Licenses/Certifications: PMP certification.
